WeatherGoose

Containing an internal web server this unit operates completely stand-alone
with no supporting PC or client software required. Internal sensors
include temperature, humidity, air flow, light level, and sound level,
plus three analog input ports. An internal 5 port serial port hub
makes adding remote sensors easy. The user needs only a Web Browser
to view the environment conditions. The unit creates internal HTML
(Web) pages, e-mail and paging alerts. A full SNMP MIB is included.
One WxGoos-1 can monitor 16 remote sensors. A small plug-in wall transformer
provides power. The WeatherGoose is integrated into a 19" 1-U high
rack mounted panel.

PowerGoose

Complete environment and power monitoring in a convenient 1-U rack
unit. All the features of a WeatherGoose plus power monitoring (current,
voltage, watts, and others) in one box. Complete with ten 5-20R power

MiniGoose 1

A WeatherGoose with only one internal temperature sensor in a small
metal box. Supports up to 16 remote sensors (sold separately).
Mounts with four screw holes. Plug-in wall transformer included. Perfect
for in-cabinet installations where space is short or where you need
a lot of climate monitors at a low price. Run the remote sensors to
remote cabinets. Web Camera is supported. Remote sensors include temperature,
humidity, air flow, door position, power measurements and many others.
An accessory rack mounted 16 port splitter is available for $99.

MiniGoose 2

An expanded MiniGoose with 16 external sensor jacks and three I/O
ports in a rack mount. Ideal for cabinet monitoring applications.
Contains an internal temperature sensor. The RJ-12 receptacles can
use remote termperature, humidity, and air flow sensors with up
to 600' of aggregate cable length. The three I/O ports can be used
for door position sensors, water sensors, or current transformers.
Plug-in wall transformer included. Up to four Web Cameras are supported.

Splitter for MiniGoose 1

Install your MiniGoose 1 in this rack-mounted option and you get
16 remote sensor ports. The MiniGoose 1 is not included. Lets you
avoid using a lot of telephone splitters to get a bunch of remote
sensors.
TempRat

Battery-powered, 1-U rack-mount temperature sensor. Put the end of
the included 12' temperature sensor cable in the hottest spot of your
blade server or other high heat-producing equipment. +/- 0.5°C
accuracy. Batteries should last well over a year. Uses two AA cells
(not included, rip them out of your old AM/FM radio). Unit reads hundreds,
tens and units. Cycles between F and C readings. Low battery alarm.
WeatherDuck

This weather station attaches to a PC serial port and warns of damaging
environment changes: perfect for server room or remote computer room
monitoring. With door sensors, you know when a door has been opened.
Add a Web Cam (USB, sold separately) and see what's going on out there.
Internal sensors include temperature, humdity, air flow, light level,
door position and sound for smoke alarm detection. Complete software
included.
WeatherDuck to WeatherGoose Converter

Liberate your climate monitoring system from server dependency. Add
the new features of a WeatherGoose to your existing WeatherDuck installation
with this modified WebFoot. Plug in a WeatherDuck and place it anywhere
with access to a network jack and power.
WebFoot - Serial to Ethernet Adapter

No server available for WeatherDuck attachment? The WebFoot converts
a serial port to an Internet address. You can assign a static IP address
or lease one from your DHCP server. The WebFoot bidirectionally converts
serial data into TCP/IP packets. A redirector software package allows
COM port data to go to an IP address. An auto-discovery/configuration
program is also included. The mounting kit allows for secure WeatherDuck
attachment. Will Internet-enable many legacy serial devices.

Remote Temperature and Airflow Sensor

Connect up to 16 of these small combined sensor units to get complete
climate monitoring in hard to reach places. Put one next to a fan
and be alerted the minute it stops.

Remote Temperature Sensor
$30 USD
Up to 16 temperature probes can be placed in hot spots. Stick one
in the cabinet inlet and one in the outlet to diagnose air-flow problems.
Put one in the A/C vent to detect problems at the source. Accurate
to +/-0.5°C. Run them hundreds of feet from the Weather Duck,
WeatherGoose or MiniGoose.
CCAT
$60 USD
Converts an analog sensor into a digital sensor that can be connected
to a 1-wire port. Useful for units that don't have an I/O port(like
the MiniGoose) or for adding additional analog sensors to a unit that
does. The CCAT needs to be programmed for the type of analog sensor
that will be connected to it. When ordering select please choose one
of the following types: water, door contact, current transformer,
or millivolt
Splitter Box for Remote Sensors

For multiple remote sensors this 5 port splitter makes the installation easy.
Chain them together to connect up to 16 sensors. One RJ-11 plug, five
receptacles, 5 foot cord. White.
Remote Sensors (Analog - connects to I/O Port)
WaterSnake Water Detection Cable

Put this cable around the periphery of your server room or around
data cabinets and get early warning of water entry. Get an e-mail
or page when water hits. Comes with wall mounted control box. Uses
two Weather or SuperGoose I/O ports. Reports when the cable is wet,
disconnected or faulty.
Note: Two CCAT interfaces are required for use with MiniGoose.
Door Sensor

This simple magnetic sensor detects when the cabinet door is open.

sensor plus all the wiring to connect to a WeatherGoose, SuperGoose

Water Sensor

Detect rising water before it ruins your gear. Connects to the I/O
ports on the WeatherDuck, WeatherGoose and SuperGoose.

PowerEgg Zero
$99 USD
Update existing power strips with this in-line power meter. By
inserting the meter between the power source (typically a power
strip) and the power source (wall plug or PDU) you can easily learn
amps, volts, watts and power factor. The values are continually
displayed in bright red LED numerals. The standard EGG0-IEC uses
C13 and C14 connectors. A kit EGG0-NEMA adds two North American
style connectors for 5-15 NEMA connectors. A cord and adaptor easily
convert the unit to typical power strip connectors. Using these
connectors the EGG0 is rated at 15 amps.
Current Transformer

This is a sample of a current transformer that can be attached to
a WeatherDuck, WeatherGoose or SuperGoose. This one measures 100amps,
single-phase.
Note: A CCAT is required to attach the sensor to a MiniGoose
City Power Monitor

Plugs into a standard outlet. Alerts you when city power is lost,
so you know how long the UPS has been on. Connects to the I/O port
on the WeatherGoose, SuperGoose and WeatherDuck.

-48VDC sensor

Designed to monitor -48 volt telephone batteries this sensor converts
the positively grounded batteries into a negatively grounded 0 to
5 VDC signal capable of being monitored be any of the WeatherGoose
Monitors. Connects to the I/O port on the WeatherGoose, SuperGoose
and WeatherDuck. No separate power supply for this sensor is required.
Power Over Ethernet Adaptors

Why run wires to your WeatherGoose? Put one of these boxes at each
end of the Cat 5 cable and the power is supplied over the Ethernet
cable. Maximum cable length 300 feet. Works with any Goose; Weather,
Super, Mini 1 and 2.
