Converts an analog sensor into a digital sensor that can be connected to one of the digital-sensor bus ports. Useful for units that don't have built-in analog inputs (like the MiniGoose or WatchDog-15), or for adding additional analog sensors when all of your existing analog inputs are already used up with other sensors. The CCAT needs to be programmed for the type of analog sensor that will be connected to it. Several versions are available depending on the type of analog sensor used.
NOTE: When ordering, please make sure to choose the correct type to match the analog sensor you intend to use it with, or the device may not give the correct readings! Available types are:
- digital — for generic dry-contact switch/relay signals
- -48V — for -48VCDM Telecom Battery Monitor
- City Power — for City Power Monitor
- Current — for CT30-60-120 Current Transducer
- Door — for magnetic Door Position Sensor
- Smoke — for SA-1 Smoke Alarm
- WSnake — for WaterSnake water sensor accessory (area sensor)
- Water — for basic Water Sensor (single-point)
Note: This device is not compatible with the "WeatherDuck" unit. Older WeatherGoose units may require a firmware upgrade to support the complete range of available CCAT interfaces. The maximum combined length for digital sensors is 600'.
