Watchdog Console Software - Software that aggregates sensor data and webcam images from multiple climate monitors. Accessed through a web interface.

Introduction

WatchDog Console software monitors and controls multiple climate monitors from a single web interface. Sensor readings from up to 200 remote units are aggregated and logged in a SQL database. Compare readings across devices and graph to see trends. Measurements are color-coded based on alarm thresholds. View thumbnails of all connected webcams. Easily update firmware on multiple units. Set alarms thresholds simultaneously on many units. Console runs as a service under Windows XP/2003.

Consolidated View

The Consolidated View provides a top-level view of the health of the system. Each unit is shown with current sensor readings and a camera image if connected. Units in alarm are shown first, so with a glance you can tell if there’s a problem. Click on a unit and you’re taken right to the unit’s webpage.

Measurement Aggregation

Console contacts your climate monitors and retrieves sensor readings. These measurements are stored on your system. Pick a sensor type from a drop-down and the Status view displays a color-coded bar graph of current values. This makes it easy to compare readings across many units.

Graphing

View graphs of historic sensor readings. Observe trends between units based on sensor type and time range. Up to 20 units can be selected. Graphs can display up to a month of data.

Logging

Sensor readings are logged in a central SQL database on your system. This information can be viewed remotely through a web browser. Logs can be downloaded as well as the event log. No more having to download logs from individual units.

Firmware Push

Update firmware on multiple remote units. The interface displays the firmware version of each unit, with update options. Chose units and a firmware version and Console takes care of the rest. Firmware Push simplifies keeping your units up to date.
